Um... so... just hypothetically, if you received your W-2s in January, along with a few other tax documents, and you decided to put them really safe place for a few weeks (ok, months) until you were ready to do your taxes...
Where exactly do you think that place might be?
I've got about 3 weeks to figure this out. Guess I'll start cleaning my apartment this weekend.
In the kitchen, on top of the fridge.
ReplyDeleteNo?
Dang.
In a spare red-well that I brought home from the office, thinking that I would be better orgaized.
ReplyDeleteI had near-panic over the weekend when I realized that my spouse's W-2s were not sitting where they used to be, in the pile of all the other tax info including my own W-2s.
ReplyDeleteI finally found them "filed" away. Whew.
As I've said before, I work for free...so what is this "W-2" you speak of?
ReplyDeleteIn a blank untitled folder in the front of my desk drawer... among all the other files.
ReplyDeleteThat happens to me EVERY YEAR!!
ReplyDeleteI had mine resent and then found the originals in my Con Law book the day after the new ones came in the mail.
ReplyDeletep.s. I love your blog--thanks for the inspiration!
Keep up the good work.
